Today I attended the Association of Bridal Consultants meeting at the beautiful Highland Manor. As budgets are tight many of my brides don’t have wedding planners which, after photographing too many weddings to count over the past 8 years, I think is a mistake. You may not need a full service planner, but I highly recommend an experienced day of coordinator.
I have learned a few tricks over the years, but occasionally like to attend luncheons that discuss other ways I can assist my brides. While I supply my brides with an emergency wedding kit right here on this blog, I felt there may be things I was missing. The planners were able to show me how to make a throw away/toss bouquet using only floral centerpieces and floral tape. This would have been extremely useful a few years ago when one of my brides forgot to order a throw bouquet and wanted to keep her own. She wound up tossing a flower from her bouquet which looked strange and didn’t go far enough for anyone to catch. Thanks for the tips ladies!!
