Given our shared enjoyment of the Hunger Games book trilogy and the newly 
released DVD of the first movie, Rebekah Miller and I came up with the idea of a Hunger Games inspired photo shoot.
After close examination, we tried to get the feel of District 12 Katniss and how she progressed into the Katniss that emerged from the Hunger Games. We strived to be as authentic as possible, even re-enacting several images from the movie.
The first set of images are set in District 12 with Katniss wearing her father’s jacket. The second set are from Katniss during the Hunger Games.
